African Gen-Z come together to tackle real-world challenges in Data Privacy and develop groundbreaking solutions for African problems.
In a recent virtual gathering of young African minds, we witnessed the power of collaboration and innovation. This unique collaboration is a partnership and a movement to revolutionize and sustainably advance data protection best practices in Africa, inspiring hope for a more secure digital future. We are thrilled to launch the IGNITE 01 Data Protection Map, Data Privacy Toolkit, showcasing the innovative and groundbreaking Code4Privacy Hackathon 2024 Projects. These projects (see links to the projects below), brought to life by the collaborative efforts of Scratch and Scripts, the Office of Data Protection Commission from Nigeria, Kenya, and Zambia, and leveraging on the diverse and depth of knowledge from ISACA Chapters in Africa (Abuja, Ibadan, Kenya, Kampala, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Rwanda, South Africa), are set to revolutionize data protection in Africa.
